Dorothy Ann Gifford, 48, of Fort Oglethorpe, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015.

She was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and attended Cross Connection Assembly of God. She was a licensed cosmetologist and served the North Georgia area for many years and was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Gifford and daughter, Susan Woods.

Survivors include her parents, Jack & Barbara Hudgins of Fort Oglethorpe, GA; three daughters & son-in-law, Krystal Carroll and Heather Carroll both of Fort Oglethorpe and Emmalee & (Michael) Stamps of Ringgold, GA; sister & brother-in-law, Renee & (Jeremy) Price of Tunnel Hill, GA; 9 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Pastor Joey Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends after 4 p.m. Monday, all day Tuesday and prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
