James Curtis Crocker, 81, of Crandall, GA, went home to be with the Lord on April 19, 2015. James was a lifelong resident of the north Georgia area and a member of the Baptist faith. He served our country in the US Army. He was an electrician for Delta Airlines for over 30 years, was a talented pitcher in fast pitch softball for Combustion, as well as many other teams, and was a member of the Masons for 50+ years, as well as an Alhambra Shriner. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycle. He is preceded in death by his parents; Joseph Henry Crocker & Willie Noland Crocker.

He is survived by his wife; Jeanette Hawkins Crocker of Crandall, Ga, daughter; Lynn Crocker Haney of Atlanta, GA, his beloved pet; Claudette, son & daughter-in-law; Michael & Amy Hawkins of Crandall, GA, sister & brother-in-law; Myra Crocker & Benny Hale of Chattanooga, TN, grandson; Eli Hawkins, niece; Kristen Griffith & nephew; Randy Hale of Athens, GA.

A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Lakewood South with Minister Cathy Meyer officiating. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 5:00-8:00pm.
