Patriotic Emblem

William "Bill" Floyd Prescott, 84 of Flintstone departed this life Monday, April 20, 2015 at his home. He was born in Flintstone to the late Samuel & Roxie Prescott. Bill served in the United States Army and later retired from Ford as Service Manager. He was a member of Flintstone Baptist Church.

He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Edna Pardue, Wallace "Bud" Prescott, and Harold Prescott.

Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Jane Prescott of Flintstone, daughters, Debbie (Buddy) Walden of Lookout Mtn., Vickie (Jimmy) Roach of Flintstone, grandchildren, Brian Walden, Jennifer Walden, Jarrod Roach, great granddaughter, Sydney Walden, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 12:00PM Thursday, April 23, 2015 in the chapel with Pastor Brent Smith officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 12:00PM Thursday at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at Lakewood Memory Gardens-South at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Flintstone Baptist Church 121 Mountain View Circle Flintstone, GA 30725. Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Homes-Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
